Located in Miramar but worth the trip if you are unfortunate enough not to live there. This is a gem of a cafe with a menu that is small but changes regularly. The ownerchef produces simple and excellent food using seasonal produce and all at very reasonable prices. The standard of the food is consistent with and frequently exceeds most cafes in Wellington city and many restaurants. They also do all their own baking and pastry making and the coffee is excellent. Very friendly staff, very casual atmosphere. They are open 7 days and for dinner on some nights but you will need to confirm evenings with the restaurant.

I cannot say enough about Edwards Jones. Olly, the owner, is an exceptional chef who makes an exceptional creme brulee. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere in the cafe is relaxed and family-oriented. Olly catered for my wedding on 29 April and not one of the 100 guests had a bad thing to say about the quality of the food, or the service. He carried the event off with professionalism and good taste. I highly recommend Edwards Jones as a place to get your morning croissants, and as a caterer for those events where something special is needed.
